ROYAL ASYLUM of ST. ANN'S SOCIETY.-The Friends of HERBERT FREDERICK MONSARRAT ber to return their sincere thanks to those Governors who kindly supported this case at the Election of the 10th of August, and earnestly solicit a continuance of their support for the Election in February, 1861.

To the GOVERNORS of the ROYAL ASYLUM of ST. ANN'S SOCIETY-Your sympathy and support at the ensuing Election, which takes place in February next, for candidates for admission to the Royal Asylum of St. Ann's Society, is earnestly solicited on behalf of

HERBERT FREDERICK MONSARRAT, AGED 9 YEARS, Whose father, Frederick Geale Monsarrat, died November, 1854, at the early age of 39, leaving a widow and four infant children unprovided for. The widow is a gentlewoman by birth and education, but being afflicted with deafness and declining health, is incapable of filling any situation in order to provide for her fatherless children. Her father, Captain John Harris, entered the Army at the early age of 14 years, and served gallantly throughout the Peninsular and other campaigns under the Duke of Wellington, and remained with the 45th Regiment of Foot throughout the whole of his military career, he had seven brothers, also in the military profession, two of whom were killed in action.

The Case is strongly recommended by

The Archdeacon of Waterford, Waterford.

Rev. Charles Seymour Langley, Bector of St. Mary's, Clonmel, Ireland.
Rev. William Carpenter, D.D., Christ's Church, Manchester.
Rev. Sydney H. Widdrington, Vicar of St. Michael's, Coventry.

George White, Esq., 34 Dowgate-hill, London, É.C.
Walter Wheeler, Esq., 8, Falcon-court, Fleet-street, E.C.

Proxies will be thankfully received by those marked thus, and by the widow, Mrs. Monsarrat, Richmond-terrace, Clonmel, Ireland.

It is particularly requested that those Governors who may kindly assist this case will fill up the voting papers accordingly before parting with them.
