M. Let us diligently hearken to the Voice of our God, to walk in the, Ways which He hath commanded us: Let us be Doers of the Word, and not Hearers only, deceiving ourselves: For Whofoever obeyeth not the Word of the Lord, fhall be destroyed. (1)

P. For not the Hearers of the Law are just before God, but the Doers of the Law fhall be juftified. (m): M. Let alfo love the Lord our God, with all our Heart, and Soul and Strength; for the Ways of the Lord are Mercy and Truth, to fuch as keep his Commandments. (2) Let us therefore be thankful unto Him, glorifie Him in all Things, and praise Him for his Goodnefs, and his wonderful Works to the Children of Men.

P. For the Lord is just and good; his Ways are Ways of Pleasantnefs, and all his Paths are Peace. (0)

4 M. THE HOLY GOSPEL commands us to love our Neighbor as Ourselves, to be just and upright in all Things, to do no Wrong, nor to opprefs any one; yea, to love even our Enemies, to do Good to them which hate us, to blefs them that curfe us, and to pray for them that defpitefully use and perfecute us:-Be Ye therefore merciful, as your Father alfo in Heaven is merciful. (p)

P. For in fo doing, our Reward fhall be great, and We fhall be the Children of the Higheft. (q)

M. Let us put on Love, which is the Bond of Perfection; for if We love one another, God dwelleth in Us: But He that loveth not his Brother, knoweth not God, for God is Love. And by this fhall all Men know that ye are the Difciples of Chrift, if ye have Love one to another. I beseech you therefore, that ye walk worthy of the Vocation wherewith ye are called, in all Lowli nefs and Meeknefs, with Long Suffering, forbearing and forgiving one another. (r)

P. Hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us. (s)

M. Let us therefore remove far from Us a froward Heart, and perverfe Lips; neither let us be too ready to judge another. But more especially, let none of us bear falfe Witness against our Neighbor, neither lie one to another, but speak the Truth always, and lay afide all Hypocrify and Deceit. (u)

M.
