THE Census of 1900 gave the production of poultry in the Census year in the United States as 250,623, 114. The enumeration covered chickens, guinea fowls, turkeys, geese and ducks three months old and over. The largest production was in Iowa, 20,043,343, and the next largest, Illinois, 17,737, 262.
