rited Address to the People of Lyftra. The Occafion of it was remarkable. In their painful Journeyings for the Propagation of the true Faith our Apostles arrive at this City of Lycaonia, which, it seems, was entirely given up to Pagan Idolatry. Here, amidst their wondering Audience, the inspired Preacher discovers One more than ordinarily attentive, whose bodily Misfortune of being a Cripple from his Mother's Womb, enforced by the Faith which he had to be healed, recommended him as an Object worthy of Compaffion: vers. 8, 9, 10.There fat a certain Man at Lyftra impotent in his Feet being a Cripple from his Mother's Womb who never had walked: The fame
