The Metropolitan Time Tables, at the end of the A.B.C. Guide, contain information as to railway facilities for reaching places in the vicinity of London.

Before booking reference should be made to the sketch Map, No. 9, page 93, which shows the relative positions of the Railway Stations, as much depends upon the locale of the traveller as to which station he should proceed to for any particular place. All trains on the Metropolitan and District Railway are marked "inner" or "outer circle;" each ticket bears an I or O, thus saving all doubt as to the train the passenger should travel by.
