בָּרָק וַיָּהָמם: וַיִּרְאוּ אֲפִיקֵי יָם יִפָּלֵוּ מְוֹסְרְות תֵּבֵל בְּגַעֲרַת יְהוָה מִנִּשְׁמַת רוּחַ אַפּוֹ: יִשְׁלַח מִמָּרוֹם

יִקָחֵנִי יַמְשַׁנִי מְמַיִם רַבִּים : יַצִילֵנִימֵאֹיְבִי עָז מִשְׂנְאַי כִּי אָמְצוּ מִמֶּנִּי, וְקַרְמֶנִי בְּיוֹם אֵידִי וַיְהִי יְהוָה

מִשְׁעָן לִי: וַיֹּצֵא לַמֶּרְחָב אֹתִי יְחַלְצֵנִי כִּי־ חָפֵץ בִּי: יִנְמֵלֵנִי יְהוָה כְּצִדְקָתִי כְּבָר יָדַי יָשִׁיב לִי :

כִּי שָׁמַרְתִּי דַרְכֵי יְהוָה וְלֹא רָשָׁעתִּי מֵאֱלֹהָי: משטטוּבִּי כָל־מִשְׁפָּטוֹ לְנֶגְדִּי

וְחיּוֹתָיו לֹא־אָסְוּר מִמֶּנָּה: וָאֶהְיֶה תָמִים לִוֹ וָאֶשְׁתַּמְרָה מֵעֲוֹנִי: וַיָּשֶׁב יְהוָה לִי כְּצִדְקָתִי כְּברִי לְנֶגֶד עֵינָיו: עַם־חָסִיד תִּתְחַמָּךְ

עם־גִּבּוֹר תָּמִים תִּתַּמָּם: עַם־נָבָר תִּתָּבָר וְעִם־עֶקְשׁ תִּתַּפָּל: וְאֶת־ עם עָנִי תִּשִׁיעַ וְעֵינֶיךְ עַל־

רָמִים תַּשְׁפִּיל: כִּי־אַתָּה נֵירֵי יְהוָה וַיהוָה יַגִיהֵ חָשְׁכִּי: כִּי בְכָה אָרוּץ גֶדֶוּד בֵּאלֹהֵי אֲדַלֶג־שׁוּר: הָאֵל

תָּמִים דַּרְכּוֹ אִמְרַת יְהוָה צְרוּפָה מָגֵן הִוּא לְכָל הַחֹסִים בּוֹ: כִּי מִי־אֵל מִבַּלעדי יְהוָה וּמִי־צוּר מִבַּלעדי

אֱלֹהֵינוּ: הָאֵל מָעוּזִי חֵיל וַיַּתֵּר תָּמִים דַּרְכֵּו רגלי קימְשוּה רַגְלָיו כָּאַיָּלוֹת וְעַל־ בָּמֹתֵייַעֲמִידֵנִי: מְלַמָּד יָדִי

תַּחְתַּנִי וְלֹא מַעַרְוּ קַרְסְלֶי: אֶרְדְפָה אֹיְב וָאַשְׁמִידֵפוְלֹא אָשׁוּב עַד־ כָּלְתָם: וְאַכלָּם וָאָמְחָצֵם

וְלֹא יְקוּמוּן וַיִּפְלְוּ תַּחַת רַגְלִי: וַתַּזְרֵנִי חֵיל לַמִּלְחָמָה תַּכְרִיע קָמַי תַּחְתַּנִי: וְאוּלַי תַּתָּה

לִי עֶרֶף מְשַׂנְאַי וְאַצְמִיתֵם: יִשְׁעוּ וְאֵין משִׁיעַ אֶל־יְהוָה וְלֹא עֶגְם: וְאֶשְׁחֲקֵם כַּעֲפַר־

אָרֶץ כְּטִיט־חוּצוֹת אֲרַקֵם אֶרְקָעָם :

Shuvah Yisroile. O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for

thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Take with you words, and turn to the Lord; say unto him, take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses, neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy. I will heal their backslidings, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive-tree, and his smell as Lebanon. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. Ephraim shall say, what have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green firtree, from me is thy fruit found. Who is wise, and he shall understand these things ? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein. Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly. Gạther the people : sanctify the congregation; assemble the elders : gather the children, and those that suck the breasts : let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach; that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, where is their God ? then will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people. Yea, the Lord will answer, and say unto his people, behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen. But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east-sea, and his hinder part towards the utmost sea; and his stink shall come up, and his ill favour shall come up, because he hath done great things. Fear not, O land, be glad and rejoice:
