yield to them that are exercised by it, the most peaceable fruit of justice.

Wherefore, lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees. Heb. xii. 1-12.

For this is thankworthy, if, for conscience towards God, a man endure sorrows, suffering wrongfully.

For what glory is it, if, sinning and being buffeted, you suffer it? But if, doing well, you suffer patiently, this is thankworthy before God.

For unto this you have been called because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps. 1 St. Pet. ii. 19-21.

Christ, therefore, having suffered in the flesh, be you also armed with the same thought: for he that hath suffered in the flesh, hath ceased from sins:

That now, as to the rest of his time in the flesh, he may live, not according to the desires of men, but according to the will of God.

iii. 19.

And one of the ancients answered, and said to me : Who are these that are clothed in white robes: and whence are they come?

And I said to him: My Lord, thou knowest ; and he said to me: These are they who are come out of great tribulation, and have washed their

robes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne, shall dwell over them.

They shall not hunger nor thirst any more, neither shall the sun fall on them, nor any heat:

For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne, shall rule them, and shall lead them to the fountains of the waters of life, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Apoc. vii. 13-17. And death shall be

no more: nor mourning, nor

crying, nor sorrow shall be any more. Apoc. xxi. 4.

ALMSGIVING.

Remember the word of the Lord Jesus, how he said: It is more blessed to give, than to receive. Acts xx. 35.

Now this I say he who soweth sparingly, shall also reap sparingly; and he who soweth in blessings, shall also reap of blessings.

Every one as he hath determined in his heart, not with sadness, or of necessity, for God loveth a cheerful giver.

And God is able to make all grace abound in you; that ye always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound in every good work :

As it is written: He hath dispersed abroad: he hath given to the poor: his justice remaineth for

ever.

He that hath the substance of this world, and shall see his brethren in need, and shall shut up his bowels from him: how doth the charity of God abide in him?

My little children, let us not love in word, nor in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1 St. John iii. 17, 18.

As the Lord hath distributed to every one, as God hath called every one, so let him walk and so I teach in all churches. 1 Cor. vii. 17.

:

For see your vocation, brethren, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble :

But the foolish things of the world hath God chosen, that he may confound the wise and the weak things of the world hath God chosen, that he may confound the strong :

And the mean things of the world, and the things that are contemptible, hath God chosen, and things that are not, that he might destroy the things that

With all humility and mildness, with patience, supporting one another in charity,

Careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephes. iy. 1-3.

For as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office :

So we being many, are one body in Christ, and each one, members one of another.
