By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another. Ver. 35.

These things I command you, that you love one another. St. John xv. 17.

Holy Father, keep them in thy name, whom thou hast given me: that they may be one, as we also are. St. John xvii. 11.

That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee, that they all may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Ver. 21.

And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them; that they may be one as we also are one. Ver. 22.


For lo, the kingdom of God is within you. St. Luke xvii. 21.

But as many as received him, to them he gave power to be made the sons of God, to them that believe in his name. St. John i. 12.

Yet a little while; and the world seeth me no more. But you see me; because I live, and you shall live. St. John xiv. 19.

In that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Ver. 20.

Jesus answered, and said to him: If any one will love me, he will keep my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and will make our abode with him. Ver. 23.

Every branch in me, that beareth not fruit, he will take away: and every one that beareth fruit, he will


purge it, that it may bring forth more fruit. St. John xv. 2.

Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine; so neither can you, unless you abide in me. Ver. 4.

I am the vine, you the branches : he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. Ver. 5.

If any one remaineth not in me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up, and cast him into the fire; and he burneth. Ver. 6.

If you remain in me, and my words remain in you; you shall ask whatever you will, and it shall be done to you. Ver. 7.

As thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they all may be one in us; St. John xvii. 21.

I in them, and thou in me; that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast also loved me. Ver. 23.

I have made known thy name to them, and will make it known: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them. Ver. 26.


And he saith to them: Come after me, and I will make you become fishers of men. St. Matt. iv. 19.

I say to thee: That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church ; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. St. Matt. xvi. 18.

And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven : and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven. Ver. 19.

Go ye, therefore, teach all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. St. Matt. xxviii. 19.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, behold, I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. Ver. 20.

And he said to them: Go ge into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature. St. Mark xvi. 15.

He said to them: Give you them to eat. St. Luke ix. 13.

Go : Behold, I send you as lambs among wolves. St. Luke x. 3.

Into whatsoever house you enter, first say: Peace be to this house : Ver. 5.

And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: but if not, it shall return to you. Ver. 6.

He that heareth you, heareth me: and he that despiseth you, despiseth me. And he that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me. Ver. 16.

Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and see the countries, for they are ripe already to harvest. St. John iv. 35.

And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto everlasting life. Ver. 36.

You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you,

and have appointed you, that you should go and should bring forth fruit, and your fruit should remain ; that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name he may give it you. St. John xv. 16.

If the world hate you; know ye that it hated me before you. Ver. 18.

And he said to them again : Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent me, I also send you. St. John XX. 21.

When he had said this, he breathed on them : and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost. Ver. 22.

Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them: and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained. Ver. 23.

Jesus saith to Simon Peter: Simon son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him : Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him : Feed my lambs. St. John xxi. 15.

He saith to him again : Simon son of John, lovest thou me? He saith to him: Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him : Feed my lambs. Ver. 16.

He saith to him the third time, Simon son of John, lovest thou me ? Peter was grieved, because he said to him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said to him, Lord, thou knowest all things : thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him : Feed my sheep. Ver. 17.



FAITHFUL. And Jesus said to him : See thou tell no man: but go, show thyself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses commanded for a testimony to them. St. Matt. viii. 4.

And seeing the multitude, he had compassion on them, because they were distressed, and lying as sheep having no shepherd. St. Matt. ix. 36.

Then he saith to his disciples: The harvest, indeed, is great, but the labourers are few. Ver. 37.

Pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest. Ver. 38.

Whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, going forth out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. St. Matt. x. 14.

Amen I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha, in the day of judgment, than for that city. Ver. 15.

For it is not you that speak, but the spirit of your Father that speaketh in you. Ver. 20.

Amen, amen I say to you, he that receiveth whomsoever I send, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me. St. John xiii. 20.

If thy brother shall offend thee, go and reprove him between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou shalt gain thy brother. St. Matt. xviii. 15.

But if he will not hear thee, take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may stand. Ver. 16.

And if he will not hear them, tell the church. And
