The first Greek New Testament divided into verses.

Bibliographers have pronounced this the rarest of all Robert's (Stephanus) impressions of the Greek Testament; in beauty it is inferior to none. Le Long says it was printed in Geneva, and that copies are found in which the year of impression is marked XLI. or LI., but in some of them the numeral X. appears to have been erased. He is at a loss to account for this; but perhaps these appearances may be sufficiently explained, by the supposition that Robert printed this book clandestinely at Paris. For such an edition he could never hope to obtain the license of the University. An important peculiarity of this edition is, that the text for the first appeared Tunurtu, or versiculi, which are still in use at the present day.'-Greswell's Early Paris Greek Press.
