327 THE ANNUAL REGISTER: a Review of Public Events at Home and Abroad, from Vol. I. 1758 to 1867, 113 vols. 8vo, calf £12

This valuable work is indispensable to all good libraries, comprehending as it does a detailed view of Naval and Military Affairs, Politics, Parliamentary and General History, Commerce, Statistics Biography, &c., British and Foreign, of the last century and a half.

Americans admit that the Annual Register contains the best foreign summary account of their affairs. Later Military History and records of the French Revolution, Napoleon's Bulletins, the Peninsula and Waterloo Campaigns, are fully and fairly summarized.
