Передня обкладинка
Jewish Publication Society, 1998 - 368 стор.
If you have found the study of Talmud daunting, "Swimming in the Sea of Talmud" is a perfect jumping off point for this central body of rabbinic literature; it helps apply the Talmud's lessons to the issues and conflicts of modern life, including business ethics, sexuality, family dynamics, and their connection to a satisfying and meaningful life.

In an original and engaging format, the authors provide contemporary applications of the principles embedded within the ancient texts, presenting over 90 concise, self-contained proverbs from the Babylonian Talmud with a new "user-friendly" translation of the Hebrew and Aramaic text.
