Reynard the Fox.--The Historye of Reynart the Foxe by me William Caxton translated (from the Dutch) into Englyssh in Thabbey of Westmestre. 1481. folio.

A satire upon the Roman Catholic religion, as also upon the court and courtiers. Copies are in the libraries of King George III. and the Earl Spencer. Another at the sale of Mr. Inglis' library, no. 1424, with a printed slip between sheets h and i, supplying a deficiency in the text, produced 1841. 16s. It is now in the collection of the Hon. Thomas Grenville. Collation.—Sign. a to 15, in eights, a blank-the table commencing on a 2, and the book ending on the 83d leaf.
