Only 200 copies printed. A short time after the printing of these Hints, the author of them and several other literary gentlemen, belonging to Newcastle and its neighbourhood, formed themselves into a society; and they agreed that the same should be denominated 'The Typographical Society of Newcastle-upon Tyne,' and that their number of members should not exceed thirty.
