THE INFANT'S PRAYER. FATHER of Mercies! Heavenly Lord! Good are thy works and wond'rous ways, Thou, who by angels art adored, Accept an infant's prayer and praise. Lord guide me through this world of sin, Here watch my path, then lead me in Father in glory! Thee, I owe More than this helpless tongue can say ; Not all my life while here below, Could for one blessing, thee repay. Saviour above! who died for me, Stoop down with thy redeeming love; From sin, mine infant heart, set free, That I may sing thy praise above. God of all truth!
