PS. CXII:1-10

1 Praise ye the LORD. I will 1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is praise the LORD with my whole the man that feareth the LORD, heart, in the assembly of the up- that delighteth greatly in his comright, and in the congregation. mandments.

2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 He hath made his wonderful

works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

PS. CXIII:1-9

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.

4 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

5 Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,

6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.

PS. CXVII:1-2

1 Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.

2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.

3 The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

PS. CXLVIII:1-14

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: 8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

10 praise the LORD, all ye na-ful trees, and all cedars: tions: praise him, all ye people.

9 Mountains, and all hills; fruit

2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.

10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of

the earth:

12 Both young men, and maid- 6 Let the high praises of God be ens; old men, and children: in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the

earth and heaven.

14 He also exalteth the horn of

his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

PS. CXLIX:1-9

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fet

ters of iron;

9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto PS. CL:1-6 the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of

saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4 FOR THE LORD TAKETH

PLEASURE IN HIS PEOPLE: HE WILL BEAUTIFY THE MEEK WITH SALVATION.

5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

3 Praise him with the sound of

the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance; praise him. with stringed instruments and organs.

5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the highsounding cymbals.

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
