Le Dictionnaire de médecine (encyclopédie méthodique) contient la biographie
des médecins célèbres, avec des notices de leurs ouvrages. Voir aussi dans
la même section [SCIENCE MEDICALE] le Dictionnaire historique de la méde-
cine, et Renouard, Histoire de la médecine. Les Mémoires de l'académie de
médecine contiennent aussi les éloges des membres décédés.

Le vol. 1er des Œuvres de Fontenelle contient les éloges d'un grand nombre d'Académiciens, et, entre autres, de Bernouilly, Vauban, Tournefort, Bourdelin, Cassini, Mallebranche, Leibnitz, Saurin, &c.
