In response to many requests, the notable articles on "The National Electrical Code," by Pierce and Richardson, in "The Insurance Post" of Chicago, have been revised and extended and are published herewith. in convenient book form. As stated in the sub-title, this little book is "An Analysis and Explanation Of The Underwriters' Electrical Code, Intelligible to NonExperts." Most writers on electrical topics confuse the non-expert by their continued use of technical terms. Messrs. Pierce and Richardson, whose competency is unquestioned, have undertaken to explain the matter in ordinary language," for the special benefit of insurance inspectors and electrical students.
