Canon Farrar on the Marlborough College Mission. IAN. I see with sincere pleasure from the Rev. E. F. Noel Smith's account of the Marlborough Mission, that it is doing, and apparently with marked success, the very work for which it is designed. No sounder, more blessed, and more effectual method of helping to raise the condition of the poorer classes, and to increase the happiness of their lives, has yet been discovered than that which results from the Parochial System of the Church of England when it is worked by faithful ministers.
