This volume is designed as a continuation of Thompson's National Bank Cases, and is believed to contain every such case decided since the issue of that volume, including a number reported while this volume was in press. Many of these decisions are of the greatest authority and importance, especially on ques tions of taxation, usury, and liability for special deposits. To these have been added the National Bank Act, with the various amendments, and other acts relating to National banks, with sec tional references to the decisions reported in this volume and in Mr. Thompson's work, and a detailed index.
