This exquisite collection comprises one hundred and thirteen drawings (many of life size) representing British Birds and their Eggs, forming an altogether unique work. Many of the drawings are finished in the highest style of art, by Lewin. Half bound in oblong folio, with descriptions of

the birds annexed.

692 The Eggs of British Birds. A series of forty-five watercolor drawings, exquisitely finished, by Lewin. Handsomely arranged iu portfolio; small quarto size.

Illuminated Manuscript of the 15th Century—on vellum. 694 Gilles de Rome Regime des Princes. Large thick folio, a very beautiful and splendid Manuscript, finely written in a very bold hand upon vellum, with 3 beautiful large Paintings, with borders, and many hundred capital letters in gold and colors, bound in russia, marbled leaves, from the Valliere collection, one leaf is wanting. Sæc. XIV.

This celebrated work, on the government of kings and princes, was composed about the year 1258, for the instruction of Philip le Bel, son of Philip the Hardy, King of France, by his tutor, Giles de Rome. It was frequently printed, and was translated into Latin, Spanish, Limousin, Italian, English, &c.
