And, O most gracious and merciful God, the Father and Friend of Mankind, We present our Supplicatkins unto Thee for All that are any Ways afleted or dir. tressed, whetker in Mind, Body or outward Circumftan ces, (especially These for wom cur Prayers are defred ;) that it may please Thee to give them Patience under their Sufferings, and in thy good time a happy Deliverance out of them. Plead Thou the Cause of the Fatherless and Widow, provide for the poor and needy, give Ease to such as are in Pain, restore Health to the fick, help such as are in Danger, deliver them that are tempted, fatisfie the doubiing, relieve those who are under any Distress or Trouble of Mind, and in the Multitude of their Thoughis within them, let thy Comforts deligāt their Souls. Support and trengthen all those, who are in any manner persecuted or oppressed for Righteouiness' fake, enable them to be steady in their Duty and Obe. dience to Thee, and grant that the Trial of their Faith may be found unto Praise and Honor and Glory, at the Appearing of Jesus Chrift

And may Every one of Us thy Servants here present, in our several Stations, cultivate kind and compaff nate Difpofitions, and learn to be patient, under whatever Troubles or Difficulties thy Providence thinks fit to try us with, humbling ourselves before Thee, and chearful: ly resigning ourselves to thy Will, in full Affurance of thy fatherly Care for us; that so in due Time we may reap, if we faint not.
These our Prayers and Supplications We humbly offer to thy divine Majesty, in the Name and through the Mediation of Jesus Christ thy blessed Son, our Savior. Amen.

6 A Concluding Prayer. LMIGHTY and everlasting God, who haft gi
ven Us Grace at this Time, with one Accord, to - make our common Supplications unto Thee, and halt af
sured us by thy well-beloved Son, that whatsoever We ask -in his Name We shall receive, hear Thou from Heaven the Habitation of thy Glory, we earnestly beseech Thee, and fulfill now the Defires and Petitions of thy Servants, in fuch Measure and Degree as Thou knowest to be most expedient for us. Preserve us from the Power and Malice of the Devil, from the evil Designs of wicked Men, and from every Danger to which we are exposed ; and grant us all thofe Things that may be conducive to our eternal Wel
fare. Forgive whatever thy pure Eyes have seen amiss in our Conduct before Thee at this Time; and let this our Evening Sacrifice of Prayer and Praise
be acceptable in thy Sight, O Lord our Strength and our Redeemer. And do Thou, O God, who hait made the Day for the Works of Light, and the Night for the Refieshment of our Infirmity, mercifully defend us the remaining Part of this Day, grant us an Evening of Peace, and a Night free from Sin: that in all our Works begun, continued and ended in Thee, we may glorifie thy holy Name, and finally of thy Mercy obtain everlasting Life : which We ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our only Mediator, through whom we approach Thee, and in whose most comprehensive Form of Words we conclude these our imperfet Requeits for ourselves and for all Mankind :

on Earth as it is in Heaven ; give us Day by Day Our daily Bread ; and forgive us our Trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us ; and lead as not into Temp tation, but deliver us from Evil ; for thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever. HE Peace of God, which pafseth all Understand
Hearts and Minds in the KnowJedge and Love of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. (Phil. iv. 7.)
[And unto All, that, in every Place, call upon the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Grace be unto them, and Peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Chrift] (i Cor. i. 3-)
And may the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God, and the Communion of the Holy Spirit, be with Us all, evermore. ( 2 Cor. xiii. 14.).
End of the Evening Service.
Upon Sondays, or other Days when there is a Sermon to be
preached, let a Tune be now played upon the Organ, (where there is one,) and after that a Psalm or Hymn in Metre, (expreffive of some Christian Duties,) be sung by the whole Congregation, while the Minister rests himself. When that is over, the Minister may use this or a like

GOD, the Father of Lights, who art the Author of
all good Gifts, and haft commanded that if any Man lack Wisdom, he should ask it of Thee ; We make our earneft Addresses to thy Throne for this and every other Blesfing, and We humbly pray, that in order to our attaining greater Degrees of Light and Purity, we may meekly attend to thy holy Word, by which Thou conveyeft good Knowledge and right UnderstandingOpen our Hearts, to receive the Instructions of Truth, of Wisdom and Righteousness; may we gladly embrace the Way of Happiness, which Thou haft set before us in the Dispensation of the Gospel ; and as we call ourselves the Difciples of Chrift, grant that in the Temper of our Minds, and the whole Course of our Behavior, we may so yield ourselves to be formed by his Precepts and Example, that bị the Practice of Goodness, Righteousness and Truth, we may be daily growing into thy Likeness, and be made more and more fit to partake of the perfect Happiness of thine Heavenly Kingdom. We ask this in the Name of our only Mediator and Advocate Jesus Chrift; and in the Words which He hath taught us, We continue to pray for Ourselves and for all Mankind;

& A Prayer, that may be used after Sermon. ALMIGHTY Lord, and everlasting God, vouch
safe, we beseech Thee, to direct, fanctifie and govern our Hearts and Lives in the Way of thy Laws, and in the Works of thy Commandments ; that through thy most mighty Protection, both here and ever, we may be preferved in Soul and Body. And grant, О most merciful Father, that the Words, which we have heard this Day with our outward Ears, may by thy Grace be so grafted inwardly in our Hearts, that they may bring forth in us the Fruit of good living, to the Honor and Praise of thy Name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

OW the God of all Grace, who hath called us unto
his eternal Glory by Christ Jesus, make You perfect in every good Work to do his Will, working in You that which is well-pleasing in his Sight, through Jesus Chrift; in Whom, unto his God and our God, his Father and our Father, be Honor and Glory, for ever and ever.
