LORD our God, have Mercy upon us, and par

don our many Tranfgreffions of thy holy Laws; and We befeech Thee, write these thy Commandments fo deep in our Hearts, that we may always incline to do thy Will, and evermore fear to offend Thee. Amen.

P. The Teftimonies that Thou haft commanded, are exceeding righteous and true.

P. The Words of the Lord are pure Words, even as the Silver which from the Earth is tried, and purified feven Times in the Fire. (P. xii. 6.)

PM. The Statutes of the Lord are right, and rejoice the Heart; the Commandment of the Lord is pure, and giveth Light unto the Eyes. (P. xix. 8.)

P. Gracious and righteous is the Lord, therefore will He teach Sinners in the Way.

P. Bleffed are thofe that are undefiled in the Way, and walk in the Law of the Lord.

But above all, BLESSED be thy Name, for thy Son Jefus Chrift, through Whom we have Redemption, even the Forgiveness of Sins, and the chearful Hopes of eternal Life.

P. Therefore will We blefs Thee, O Lord, and magnifie thy Name; for thy Mercy is unspeakable to the Children of Men.

M. Glory be to God in the higheft; on Earth Peace and Good-Will towards all Men: for of him, and through him, and to him are all Things.

P. As He ever was glorified from all Eternity, fo He is now, and ever will be glorified eternally. Amen.

ET us now, my Fellow-Chriftians, give Thanks unto God for. thofe temporal and fpiritual Mercies which we have each received at his Hands, but more especially for his great Love to Mankind in fending us a Savior from Heaven, the Lord Jefus Chrift, Who, though He was the only begotten Son of God, was delivered for our Offences, and raifed again from the dead, for our Juftification.

P. Thy loving Kindness, O Lord, is better than Life, therefore fhall our Lips praife Thee. (P. Ixiii. 3.)

bly offer unto Thee our Thanksgivings and Praifes for thy gracious Favor to Us and to all Mankind: We blefs Thee for our Creation, for thy continual Prefervation of us, for the Ufe of our Reafon and Understanding, for that Measure of Health and Strength we enjoy, and for every other Comfort or Conveniency of Life, public or perfonal: [*More particularly We do adore and praise Thee for thy late Mercies vouchsafed unto thy Servant (or Servants) who defires (or defire) now to offer up his (her or their) Thanks for the fame in the public Affembly.] Bleffed be thy Name, O Lord, for every Inftance of thy Goodness to us, efpecially that Thou giveft us ftill more Time to repent and amend our Lives, and haft yet Patience with us, notwithstanding our repeated Provocations.
