17. REJOICE IN the Lord always; and again I fay, rejoice, the Lord is at hand.

18. Be careful for Nothing; but in every Thing by Prayer and Supplication with Thanksgiving, let your Requefts be made known unto God.

19. And the Peace of God, which paffeth all Underftanding, fhall keep your Hearts and Minds through Chrift Jefus.

1. IN THEE, O Lord, have I trufted, let me never be put to Confufion; but deliver me in thy Righteoufnefs, incline thine Ear unto me, and fave me. (Pf. lxxi.) 2. Be Thou my ftrong Hold, whereunto I may always refort; Thou haft promised to help me, for Thou art my Houfe of Defence and my Fortrefs.

3, For Thou, O Lord God, art the Thing that I long for; Thou art my Truft, even from my Youth: by Thee have I been holden up, ever fince I was born:

4. Thou art He that took me out of my Mother's Womb; my Praise fhall be continually of Thee.

5. O let my Mouth be filled with thy Praife, that I may fing of thy Glory and Honor all the Day long.

6. Caft me not away in the Time of Age, forfake me not when my Strength faileth me.

7. As for me, I will patiently abide alway, and will praise Thee more and more.

14. Thou shalt encrease my Greatness, and comfort me on every Side.

15. Therefore will I praife Thee, and thy Faithfulness, O my God, playing upon an Inftrument of Mufick: unto Thee will I fing upon the Harp, O thou holy one of Ifrael. 16. My Lips fhall greatly rejoice when I fing unto Thee, and fo will my Soul which Thou haft delivered.

17. My Tongue alfo fhall talk of thy Righteousnefs all the Day long.

18. THOU SHALT guide me with thy Counfel, and afterward receive me to Glory. (P. xxiii.)

19. Whom have I in Heaven but Thee? and there is None upon Earth, that I defire in comparison of Thee. 20. My Flesh and my Heart faileth; but God is the Strength of my Heart and my Portion for ever.

21. But it is good for me to hold me fast by God, to put my Truft in the Lord God, and to speak of all thy Works.

I. NTO THEE, O God, do we give Thanks; yea, unto Thee do we give Thanks, for that thy Name is near, thy wond'rous Works declare. (Pf. lxxv.) 2. When I receive the Congregation, I fhall judge "according unto Right.

3. "The Earth is weak, and all the Inhabiters thereof; "I bear up the Pillars of it."

4. For Promotion cometh neither from the Eaft, nor from the Weft, nor yet from the South: but God is the Judge; He putteth down one, and fetteth up another.

5. For in the Hand of the Lord there is a Cup, and the Wine is red; it is full mixt, and He poureth out of the fame.

6. As for the Dregs thereof, all the wicked of the Earth fhall drink them, and fuck them out.

7. But I will talk of the God of Jacob, and fing Praise unto Him for ever.

8. All the Horns of the Wicked alfo will I break; but the Horns of the Righteous fhall be exalted.

9. GIVE THE KING thy Judgements, O God; and thy Righteousness unto the King's Son: then fhall he judge thy People according unto Right, and defend the Poor. (PJ. lxxii)

10. The Mountains alfo fhall bring Peace, and the little Hills Righteoufnefs unto the People.

11. He thall keep the fimple Folk by their Right, He fhall defend the Children of the Poor, and punifh the Oppreffor.

17. The Kings of Tarshish and of the Iles fhall bring Prefents; the Kings of Arabia and Saba fhall offer Gifts: yea, all Kings fhall fall before Him; all Nations shall ferve Him.

18. For He fhall deliver the poor when he crieth; the Needy alfo and Him that hath no Helper.

19. He fhall be favorable to the fimple and needy; and fhall preferve the Souls of the poor.

20. He fhall redeem their Souls from Falfehood and Wrong; and precious fhall their Blood be in his Sight.

21. He shall live, and unto him fhall be given of the Gold of Arabia; Prayer fhall be made ever unto him, and daily fhall He be praised.

22. There fhall be an Heap of Corn in the Earth, upon the Top of the Hills; the Fruit thereof fhall shake like Libanus, and fhall be green in the City, like Grafs upon the Earth.

23. His Name fhall endure for ever; his Name shall be continued as long as the Sun; the Pofterities fhall be blessed through him, and all the Heathen fhall praife him.

24. Bleffed be the Lord God, even the God of Ifrael, which only doeth wond'rous Things.

25. And bleffed be his glorious Name for ever, and let the whole Earth be filled with his Majelly.—Amen Amen.

N Judah is God known; his Name is great in Ifrael; at Salem is his Tabernacle, and his Dwelling in Sion. (Pf. lxxvi.)

11. In the Time of my Trouble I fought the Lord; my Sore ran, and ceafed not in the Night Seafon; my Soul refufed Comfort.

12. When I am in Heaviness, I will think upon God; when my Heart is vexed, I will complain.

13. Thou holdest mine Eyes waking; I am so troubled, that I cannot speak. I have confidered the Days of old, and the Years that are paft.

14. I call to Remembrance my Song; and in the Night I commune with mine own Heart, and my Spirits make diligent Search.

15. Will the Lord absent himself for ever, and will He be favorable no more?

16. Is his Mercy clean gone for ever, and is his Promife come utterly to an End for evermore?

17. Hath God forgotten to be gracious, and will He Thut up his tender Mercies in Displeasure.

18. And I faid, it is mine own Infirmity; but I will remember the Years of the right Hand of the moft High.

19. I will remember the Works of the Lord, and call to Mind thy Wonders of old time: I will meditate also of thy Works, and my Talk fhall be of thy Doings. O
