19. BLESSED BE the God and Father of our Lord Jefus Chrift, which according to his abundant Mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively Hope, by the Resurrection of Jefus Chrift from the dead; (1 Pet. i. 3.)

20. To an Inheritance incorruptible, undefiled, and that fadeth not away; reserved in Heaven for us:

21. That the Trial of your Faith may be found unto Praife and Honor and Glory at the Appearing of Jefus Chrift;

22. Whom having not seen, we love; in Whom, though: now we fee him not, yet believing, we rejoice, with Joy unfpeakable and full of Glory.

RAISE WAITETH for Thee, O God, in Sion; and unto Thee fhall the Vow be performed in Jerufalem. (Pf. Ixv.)

2. O Thou, that heareft Prayer, unto Thee fhall all Flesh come.

3. Bleffed is the Man whom Thou chooseft, and caufeft to approach unto Thee; he fhall dwell in thy Courts, and fhall be fatisfied with the Pleafures of thy Houfe, even of thy holy Temple.

4. Thou fhalt fhew us wonderful Things in thy Righte oufness, O God of our Salvation: Thou art the Hope of all the Ends of the Earth, and of them that are afar off upon the broad Sea.

5. Who by his Strength fetteth faft the Mountains, and is girded about with Power who ftilleth the Raging of the Sea, and the Noife of it's Waves, and the Tumult of the People.

6. They allo, that dwell in the uttermoft Parts of the Earth, fhall be afraid at thy Tokens: Thou makeft the Outgoings of the Morning and Evening to praise Thee.⠀ 7. Thou vifiteft the Earth and blefieft it; Thou makest it very plenteous. 8. Thou

8. Thou greatly enricheft it with the River of God, which is full of Water; Thou prepareft their Corn, when thou haft so provided for it.

9. Thou watereft the Ridges thereof abundantly, Thou fendeft Rain into the little Vallies thereof; Thou makest it soft with Showers, Thou bleffeft the Springing of it.

10. Thou crowneft the Year with thy Goodness, and thy Clouds drop Fatness.

11. They drop upon the Paftures of the Wilderness ; and the little Hills rejoice on every Side.

12. The Paftures are cloathed with Flocks, the Valleys alfo are covered over with Corn; they fhout for Joy, they alfo fing.

13. MAKE A JOYFUL Noife unto God, all ye Lands; fing forth the Honor of his Name, make his Praife to be glorious. (P. lxvi.)

14. Say unto God, O how wonderful art Thou in thy Works! through the Greatnefs of thy Power fhall thine Enemies fubmit themselves unto Thee.

15. For all the World fhall worship Thee, and fhall fing of Thee, and praise thy Name.

16. O come hither, and behold the Works of God; how wonderful He is in his Doing toward the Children of Men.

17. He turned the Sea into dry Land, fo that they went through the Water on foot; there did we rejoice in Him..

18. He ruleth by his Power for ever, his Eyes behold the People; and fuch, as will not believe, fhall not be able to exalt themfelves.

19. O blefs our God, ye People, and make the Voice of his Praife to be heard: who holdeth our Souls in Life, and fuffereth not our Feet to flip.

20. For Thou, O God, haft proved us; Thou also hast tried us, like as Silver is tried.

21. I will go into thine Houfe with burnt-Offerings, and will pay Thee my Vows, which I promised with my Lips, and fpake with my Mouth, when I was in Trouble.

22. I will offer unto Thee fat burnt-Sacrifices, with the Incenfe of Rams; I will offer Bullocks and Goats.

23. O come hither, and hearken, all Ye that fear God, and I will tell you, what He hath done for my Soul.

24. I cried unto Him with my Mouth, and gave him Praifes with my Tongue.

25. If I incline unto Wickedness with mine Heart, the Lord will not hear me.

26. But verily God hath heard me, and hath attended to the Voice of my Prayer.

27. Bleffed be God who hath not caft out my Prayer, nor turned his Mercy from me.

28. Now UNTO GOD and our Father be Glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Phil. iv. 20.)

HYMN XXV.

Morning.

SING UNTO God, and fing Praises unto his Name; magnifie Him, that rideth upon the Heavens, as it were upon an Horfe; praife him in his Name JAH, yea and rejoice before Him. (P. Ixviii.)

2. He is a Father of the fatherlefs, and defendeth the Cause of the Widows, even God in his holy Habitation.

3. He is the God, that fetteth the Solitary in Families, and bringeth the Prifoners out of Captivity, but letteth the Rebellious continue in Scarcenefs.

4. O God, when Thou wenteft forth before thy People, when Thou didst march through the Wilderness; the Earth fhook, and the Heavens dropped at the Presence of God; even Sinai alfo was moved at the Prefence of God, the God of Ifrael.

5. Thou, O God, fenteft a gracious Rain upon thine Inheritance, and refreshedft it when it was weary.

6. Thy Congregation fhall dwell therein; for Thou, O God, haft of thy Goodnefs prepared for the poor.

7. The Lord gave the Word; great was the Company of those that published it.

8. Kings with their Armies did flee, and were discomfited; and they of the Houfhold divided the Spoil.

9. Though Ye have lien among the Pots, yet fhall ye be as the Wings of a Dove, that is covered with Silver Wings, and her Feathers like Gold.

10. When the Almighty fcattered Kings for their Sakes, then were they as white as Snow in Salmon.

II. As the Hill of Bafan, fo is God's Hill; even an high Hill, as the Hill of Bafan.

12. Why leap ye fo, ye high Hills? this is God's Hill, in the which it pleafeth Him to dwell; yea, the Lord will abide in it for ever.

13. The Chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of Angels, and the Lord is among them, as in the holy Place of Sinai.

14. Thou art gone up on high, Thou haft led Captivity captive, and received Gifts for Men; yea, even for thine Enemies, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

15. Praised be the Lord daily; even the God who helpeth us, and poureth his Benefits upon us.

16. He is our God, even the God of whom cometh Salvation; God is the Lord, by whom we efcape Death. 17. God fhall wound the Head of his Enemies, and the hai. ry Scalp of fuch an one as goeth on ftill in his Wickedness. 18. The Lord hath faid, "I will bring my People again, "as I did from Bafan; mine own will I bring again, as I ❝ did sometime from the deep of the Sea."

19. It is well feen, O God, how Thou gocft; how Thou my God and King goeft in the Sanctuary.

20. The Singers go before, the Minstrels follow after; in the midst are the Damfels playing with the Timbrels.

21. Give Thanks, O Ifrael, unto God the Lord in the Congregations, from the Ground of the Heart; thy God hath fent forth Strength for thee: Stablish the Thing, Q God, that Thou haft wrought in us.

22. For thy Temple's Sake at Jerufalem; fo fhall Kings bring Prefents unto Thee.

23. When the Company of Spearmen and Multitude of the Mighty are scattered abroad among the Beafts of the People, fo that they humbly bring Pieces of Silver; and when He hath scattered the People that delight in War.

24. Then fhall the Princes come out of Egypt; Ethiopia fhall foon ftretch out her Hands unto God.

25. Sing unto God, O ye Kingdoms of the Earth; O fing Praises unto the Lord; to Him who fitteth in the Heaven of Heavens, which were from the Beginning.

26. Lo, He doth send out his Voice, yea, and that a mighty Voice.

27. Afcribe ye the Power to God over Ifrael; his Excellency and Strength is in the Clouds..

28. O God, wonderful art Thou in thy holy Places; even the God of Ifrael is He, that will give Strength and Power unto his People. Bleffed be God.

29. BLESSED BE God, even the Father of our Lord Je-fus Chrift, the Father of Mercies, and the God of all Comfort. Amen. (2 Cor. i. 13.)

Evening.

I. OD BE MERCIFUL unto us, and blefs us, and fhew us the Light of his Countenance, and be merciful unto us. (P. lxvii.)

2. That thy Ways may be known upon Earth, thy faving Health among all Nations.

3. Let the People praise Thee, O God; yea, let all the People praife Thee: O let the Nations rejoice, and be glad, for Thou fhalt judge the People righteously, and govern the Nations upon Earth.

4. Let the People praife Thee, O God; let all the People praise Thee.

5. Then fhall the Earth bring forth her Encrease; and God, even our own God fhall give us his Bleffing.

6. God fhall blefs us, and all the Ends of the World fhall fear Him.

7. BUT LET the Righteous be glad, and rejoice before God; let them alfo be merry and joyful. (P. lxviii.)

8. AND LET All thofe that feck Thee, be joyful and glad in Thee; and let All fuch as delight in thy Salvation, Jay alway, the Lord be praifed. (Pƒ.Ïxx.)

9. HEAR ME, O Lord, for thy loving Kindness is comfortable; turn Thee unto me, according to the Multitude of thy Mercies. (Pf. Ixix.)

10. I will praife the Name of God with a Song, and will magnifie Him with Thanksgiving.

II. This alfo fhall please the Lord, better than a Bullock that hath Horns and Hoofs.

12. The humble fhall confider this and be glad: feek ye after God, and your Soul fhall live.

13. For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his Prifoners.
