22. They fhall mount up with Wings as Eagles, they fhall run and not be weary, and they fhall walk and not faint.

23. WHO hath measured the Waters in the hollow of his Hand? and meted out Heaven with the Span, and comprehended the Duft of the Earth in a Measure, and weighed the Mountains in Scales, and the Hills in a Balance? (ib. 12.)

37. More to be defired are they than Gold, yea, than much fine Gold; fweeter alfo than Honey and the Honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy Servant taught, and in keeping of them there is great Reward.

38. Who can tell how oft he offendeth? O cleanse Thou me from my fecret Faults.

39. Keep back thy Servant alfo from presumptuous Sins, left they get the Dominion over me: so shall I be undefiled, and innocent from the great Offence.

40. Let the Words of my Mouth, and the Meditation of my Heart, be always acceptable in thy Sight, O Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer.

41. Now UNTO HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that We ask or think, according to the Power that worketh in us; (Ephef. iii. 20.)

42. Unto Him be Glory in the Church by Chrift Jefus, throughout all Ages, world without end. Amen.

Evening.

1.MY GOD, I cry in the Day-time, but Thou heareft me not; and in the Night-feafon also I am not filent: And Thou continuest holy, O Thou that inhabitest the Praifes of Ifrael. (Pf. xxii.)

2. Our Fathers hoped in Thee; they trufted in Thee, and Thou didst deliver them: they called upon Thee, and were holpen they put their Truft in Thee, and were not confounded.

3. Thou art He, that took me out of my Mother's Womb; Thou waft my Hope, when I hanged yet upon my Mother's Breafts.

4. I have been left unto Thee, ever fince I was born; Thou art my God, even from my Mother's Womb.

5. O go not from me, for Trouble is hard at hand; and there is None to help me: be Thou not far from me, O Lord; Thou art my Succor, halle Thee to help me.

6. I will declare thy Name unto my Brethren; in the midft of the Congregation will I praife Thee.

7. O praife the Lord, Ye that fear him; magnifie him all Ye of the Seed of Jacob, and fear him, all ye Seed of Ifrael.

8. For He hath not defpifed nor abhorred the low Eftate of the afflicted; He hath not hid his Face from him; but when he called unto him, He heard him.

9. My Praise fhall be of Thee in the great Congregation; my Vows will I perform in the Sight of them that fear him.

10. The poor fhall eat, and be fatisfied; they, that feek after the Lord, shall praise him: your Heart fhall live for

ever.

11. All the Ends of the World fhall remember themfelves, and turn unto the Lord, and all the Kindreds of the Nations fhall worfhip before him. For the Kingdom is the Lord's, and He is the Governor among the Nations.

12. All they, that be fat upon the Earth, fhall eat and worship all they that go down to the Duft, fhall kneel before him; and no Man can keep alive his own Soul.

13. My Seed fhall ferve him; they fhall be accounted unto the Lord for a Generation.

14. They fhall come, and declare his Righteousness, unto a People that fhall be born, whom the Lord hath made.

15. THE LORD is my Shepherd, therefore can I lack Nothing He maketh me to lie down in green Paftures, and leadeth me forth, beside the Waters of Comfort. (Pf. xxiii.)

16. He converteth my Soul, and bringeth me forth in the Paths of Righteousness for his Name's-fake.

17. Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no Evil; for Thou art with me, thy Rod and thy Staff comfort me.

18. Thou prepareft a Table before me in the Prefence of mine Enemies; Thou anointeft my Head with Oil, and my Cup runneth over.

19. Surely thy loving Kindness and Mercy fhall follow me all the Days of my Life; and I will dwell in the House of the Lord for ever.

22. Shew me thy Ways, O Lord, and teach me thy Paths lead me in thy Truth, and teach me; for Thou art the God of my Salvation: in Thee hath been my Hope all the Day long.

23. Call to Remembrance, O Lord, thy tender Mercies, and thy loving Kindneffes which have been ever of old.

24. O remember not the Sins and Offences of my Youth; but according to thy Mercy think Thou upon me, O Lord, for thy Goodnefs-fake.

25. Gracious and righteous is the Lord, therefore will He teach Sinners in the way. Them, that are Meek, fhall He guide in Judgement; and fuch as are gentle, them shall He learn his Way.

26. All the Paths of the Lord are Mercy and Truth, unto fuch as keep his Covenant, and his Teftimonies.

27. For thy Name's fake, O Lord, be merciful unto mine Iniquity, for it is great.

28. What Man is he that feareth the Lord? him fhall He teach in the Way that He fhall choose; his Soul fhall dwell at Eate, and his Seed fhall inherit the Land.

29. The Secret of the Lord is among them that fear him, and the will fhew them his Covenant.

30. Mine Eyes are ever looking unto the Lord, for He fhall pluck my Feet out of the Net,

31. Turn Thee unto me, and have Mercy on me: O bring Thou me out of my Troubles: look upon mine Affliction and Mifery, and forgive me all my Sins.

32. O keep my Soul and deliver me; let me not be confounded, for I put my Truft in Thee.

33. Let Integrity and Uprightness; preferve me for my Hope is in Thee,

HYMN IX.

HE EARTH is the Lord's and the Fulness thereof the World and they that dwell therein; for He hath founded it upon the Seas, and eftablished it upon the Floods. (P. xxiv.)

2. Who fhall afcend into the Hill of the Lord? or Who fhall rise up in his holy Place?

3. Even he that hath clean Hands, and a pure Heart; and that hath not lifted up his Mind unto Vanity, nor fworn to deceive his Neighbor.

4. He fhall receive the Bleffing from the Lord, and 'Righteoufnefs from the God of his Salvation.

5. This is the Generation of them that seek Him, even of them that feek thy Face, O Jacob.

6. Lift up your Heads, O ye Gates, and be Ye lift up, ye everlafting Doors, and the King of Glory fhall come

7. Who is the King of Glory? It is the Lord ftrong and mighty, even the Lord, mighty in Battle. Lift up your Heads, O ye Gates, and be Ye lift up, ye everlasting Doors, and the King of Glory fhall come in.

8. Who is the King of Glory? Even the Lord of Hofts; He is the King of Glory.

9. BE THOU my Judge, O Lord, for I have walked innocently; my Truft hath been alfo in the Lord, therefore fhall I not flide. (P. xxvi.)

10. Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try out my Reins and my Heart.

11. For thy loving Kindness is ever before mine Eyes, and I have walked in thy Truth.

12. I will wash my Hands in Innocency, O Lord, and fo will I go to thine Altar:

13. That I may publish with the Voice of Thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wond'rous Works.

14. Lord, I have loved the Habitation of thy House, and the Place where thine Honor dwelleth.

15. O gather not my Soul with Sinners; in whose Hands is Wickedness, and their right Hand is full of Bribes.

16. But as for me, I will walk in mine Integrity; O deliver me, and be merciful to me.
