Earl Leonard Langguth was a doctoral candidate in science who withdrew the night before his qualifying examination to answer the call to ministry. Graduating from a prestigious seminary with his professional degree (cum laude) he served for forty-three years as pastor and Bible teacher. He has written numerous articles, plays, a Christmas opera and a collection of Christmas poems, Listening Christmas. He has taught classes and workshops on Biblical studies and theology both in his native U.S.A. and in Great Britain. He is a member of the Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers' Guild.
