It is observed in the Bibl. Anglo-Poetica, 'Although there is a variation in the imprint of the two editions, there is no doubt but that they are the same.' From the Preface of the book it appears that the translator intended to publish the remaining books afterwards, but he was probably deterred in consequence of the publication of Fairfax's translation.
