Die eingehenden Rechnungen über Hauptausgaben hat er, von dem Oberbibliothekar und ihm attestirt, der Commission zur Anweisung auf den Bibliotheks-Etat der Cammercasse vorzulegen; zur Bestreitung kleiner Ausgaben aber hat er eine Handcasse zu führen, worüber er die Rechnung, belegt mit den Einnahme- und Ausgabe-Anweisungen, jährlich in den bestimmten Terminen der Grossherzoglichen Cammer abzulegen hat.

Sollte er Etwas für die bessere Erhaltung, angemessene und zweckmässige Benutzung der Bibliothek dienlich erachten, so hat er es nach genommener Rücksprache mit dem Oberbibliothekar oder dessen Stellvertreter der Commission vorzutragen, deren Verfügung zu gewärtigen und demnächst solche, so weit es ihn angeht, zur Ausführung zu bringen.

Ueberhaupt werden der Commission alle Abänderungen dieser Instruction, welche sie etwa nöthig oder nützlich finden möchte, ausdrücklich vorbehalten und hat der Bibliothekar solche zu befolgen, gleich als wenn sie in dieser Instruction enthalten wären. Oldenburg den 7. April 1847.
